Getting started

Introduction

CODE3RESPONSE (c3r) is a free police game mode for FiveM by LWK DEVELOPMENT. It runs on its own, with no ESX, QBCore or Qbox, and every AI driver you stop carries one hidden truth that their driving, answers, search, radio returns and MDT record all agree on.

What you get

Everything ships in one folder, [c3r_core]. The setup wizard builds it with the add-ons you pick.

Requirements

  • A FiveM server with OneSync (it's on by default on current servers).
  • oxmysql with mysql_connection_string set. Every table is created on first start; there is no SQL file to import.
  • Nothing else for the core. No framework, no ox_lib, no paid scripts.

Some add-ons need one extra library:

The Living Stop

Most police scripts roll each part of a stop on its own: a random answer here, a random search result there. c3r gives every driver one record first, then lets everything come from it:

  • How they drive. On patrol, a car near you starts driving like it has something to hide. A drunk weaves, a stolen car runs flat out, a suspended licence won't stop at the lights. There's no marker: you have to spot it.
  • What they say. Eight topics, 60 questions and over 500 answers, as a dialogue tree with memory. Deny drinking and you can press them on the smell.
  • What you find. A pat-down or a car search turns up what their story says they're carrying.
  • What the radio says. Plate and name checks read back the same record, by voice.
  • What the MDT keeps. The person and car stay on file, so a repeat offender builds up a history.

Nine hidden truths are possible: clean, nervous, unlicensed, suspended, expired, drunk, drugs, warrant and stolen. You set how often each comes up in the configuration.

Where to next

  1. Install it with the setup wizard.
  2. Learn the controls, nine keys in all.
  3. Read how a traffic stop works, start to finish.
