Browser pop-out

Pop Out (Ctrl+O) opens the MDT in the player's own web browser, so it can sit on a second monitor while they drive. It's the same screen with the same records, reports, query history and status bar buttons, served by your FiveM server at /lwk_mdt/. A dialog also shows the link with a Copy button, in case the game can't open the browser.

#Who can use a link

Each link carries a random token tied to that player's licence. It only works while that player is connected and on duty, and it stops working for good when they leave the server.

#The address

By default the link uses the address the player's game is connected to, e.g. http://203.0.113.5:30120/lwk_mdt/. FXServer answers web requests on its game port, so there's nothing to set up as long as TCP 30120 is open, which it already is for players to join.

That link is plain HTTP. To use a domain with HTTPS, put a reverse proxy in front of port 30120 and set:

#What still needs the game

• The status bar buttons run through the player's game, so they need the player in game.
• Radio plate and name checks open in the browser within about 3 seconds.
• The board refreshes every 5 seconds.
